My story:

I grew up in Weston with parents and two brothers, and enjoyed team sports, skating and sailing at the Cape. We summered in Chatham where I met my husband. After getting married, we moved to Wayland and raised three kids. Currently, we are blessed to have our three children, their spouses and two grandchildren living locally. Outside of church I enjoy good coffee, reading, and mountain biking with my husband.

My journey to TCC:

After getting married at TCC, my husband and I began attending church and became active in a small group. The way our fellow group members lived their lives encouraged me to ask questions, seek God, and soon after I decided to follow Jesus. My husband and I raised our three children at TCC. Before joining staff, l volunteered in Children’s Ministry, Mom to Mom, Soccer Camp and Kids Week; now I have the privilege of serving on these teams.

What I love most about TCC are the people. We’ve been grateful to have others mentor and encourage us. And, I’ve been blessed to be able to walk beside other parents and kids on their journeys. My hope is that TCC will truly become a place where parents and children alike will connect, develop meaningful relationships and encourage one another on their individual journeys of life and faith.

A meaningful verse to me:

“so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.” –  1 Thessalonians 2:8

This verse is special because it reminds me that when we sincerely love one another, we need to invest time and lives with one another as well share the gospel.
