Visual Worship

Visual Worship installations, artwork, liturgical colors and symbols are used to draw us closer into worship as we enter to hear God’s Word preached. In using a variety of mediums (drawing, painting, banners, photos, 3-dimensional pieces, etc.) to glorify God, we also strive to reflect Christ’s mission and teachings by using what is called “visual language.” We create artwork that reflects the themes in a sermon series or liturgical event. The Visual Worship team occasionally collaborates with the Flower Guild in bringing us closer to God as we worship.

How have you reflected on your faith and the sermons at TCC through Visual Worship? If you had a moment of reflection or deeper faith, let us know by emailing adam@tccwayland.org. Our favorite entry receives a jar of homemade hot fudge!
