On Sunday, January 12th, the staff will be hosting a Welcome Brunch following the 11A service. The Welcome Brunch is a gathering for anyone who is new to TCC in the last year or so, and is interested in learning more about the mission and vision of TCC, meeting Pastor Chris and the staff, and learning about the process of becoming a member. If you are interested in attending, please sign up using the on line registration form here. The Welcome Brunch will last about an hour. Childcare will be available. We would love for you to join us!
As everyone knows, parking is very limited in our TCC lot, even on a “regular” Sunday. With only one service this Sunday morning, parking will be in very high demand. If you are physically able, please park remotely in the Town Building Lot. You may drop off people or paraphernalia and then proceed to the parking lot. This will leave parking spots for visitors, the handicapped, our older population and those with young infants and toddlers.
This is a practical way to show hospitality, so plan a few extra minutes, and park in the town building lot or on the streets. Please do not park along the sides of the driveway, as these areas must be kept clear for fire lanes.
Can’t find the town lot? Follow the red arrows on the map below, or the signs posted on the church campus.
With winter right around the corner, we need to start thinking about snow and the possibility of church service delays or cancellation. We are implementing a new policy this year – in the event of bad weather, a decision will be made by noon on Saturday about the SNL service and by 7P on Saturday night for Sunday morning services.
On Sunday mornings we may potentially cancel the 9:30 service (along with LTA and Youth Programming) and just have the 11A service (But NO Youth or Children’s Programming).
You can learn about any plans to cancel or delay services by:
As always, please use your own discretion before traveling in any questionable weather!
TCC is a multi-generational, multi-ethnic family-oriented church in the Greater Wayland area in Metro-West. As an historic church steeped in the New England evangelical tradition of renewal and revival, TCC seeks to equip disciples of all age for Gospel ministry in a pluralistic context. We are a sending church, innovating and creating opportunities to proclaim the Gospel both at the local and global level.
To Be and To Make Disciples of Jesus Christ.
If you have been attending TCC for a little while, and are interested in becoming a member, LIFE Classes is the next step for you. LIFE (which means Living In Faith Everyday) Classes are three two-hour classes designed to help you have a relationship with Christ, and to understand the structure, benefits and expectations of membership. LIFE Classes are offered in the fall and spring of each year, and are taught by Pastor Chris, pastoral staff and members of the Board of Elders.
Overview of Classes
LIFE 101: We discuss our statement of faith and basic theology, as well as look at the structure, leadership and ministries of TCC.
LIFE 201: We focus on what the TCC community can do for you (worship, LIFE Groups, and care ministries), as well as what you can of for the TCC community (spiritual growth, prayer, and giving).
LIFE 301: We help you develop a heartbeat for service (spiritual gift assessment, ministry placement), and help you formulate a missions mindset (missional living, sharing faith).
LIFE 401: You will learn how to write your spiritual autobiography, and meet with one of our Pastors for an interview for final recommendation to the Board of Elders for membership.
